"Insights for Change: From Eating Struggles to Intuitive Eating"

Our cultures focus on eating and weight can distract clients, making them feel bad about themselves and their bodies, and cause them to use food rules and body shaping as lifelines to feeling better.
This can distract clients from engaging and making the changes they seek in therapy. In this workshop, we will look at how our cultures approach to eating and weight can derail clients and explore an entirely new, inner-directed approach to eating that aligns with therapeutic goals.


We will explore how this style of eating, perhaps surprisingly, is one path

to a deeper relationship with self.

You will discover the physical, cognitive and relational subtleties of moving beyond 

food rules and guidelines to internally-regulated eating, and how this supports 

the therapeutic process.
